It’s time to start planning for your Sophomore year!
Below are the steps to complete your scheduling process and prepare for a successful year at MHS.
1️⃣ Course Requests
Start by reviewing the course planning materials and selecting your classes for senior year.

2️⃣ Submit Your Course Selection Sheet
Return your completed Course Selection Sheet to your
Advisory Teacher or bring it to the Counseling Office
by Wednesday, March 4, 2026
3️⃣ Counselor Appointments
After submission, counselors will meet individually with current Freshman

Review diploma progress

Discuss academic goals and interests.

Develop list of course requests for Sophomore Year

Challenge Yourself!
Earn college credits while attending high school.
Consider these options:
AP = Advanced Placement through CollegeBoard
IUACP = Indiana University Advanced College Placement
Dual Enrollment = Ivy Tech, Vincennes credits
